Abadia Suites

It’s about a 15-minute walk from the old town, but the route goes past lots of little eateries and touristy knick-knack shops, so it didn’t feel far. You can get to practically everything on foot from here. The apartment was clean and had good amenities, including a washing machine. I’d happily stay again.

We stayed in these apartments three times in under a year, for extended visits: 30 January - 20 February 2022, 15 May - 4 June 2022, and 1-22 October 2022. We came in large groups each time, between 17 and 25 people, and booked 7-8 apartments per group. They worked really well for us. Our host, Jose, was the highlight. He kept an eye on what we needed, responded quickly, and felt more like a friend than an owner. If we return to Granada, we’ll definitely choose Abadia Apartments again. The apartments are spacious and suited to long stays. Depending on the unit, there are one or two bedrooms for 1 to 4 or 5 people, plus fully equipped modern kitchens and stylish, high-quality furniture. We really felt at home, maybe even better. They’re in a renovated old Andalusian-style building, with three floors of apartments arranged around an inner patio where you can relax outside. Gran Via de Colon and Los Jardines de Triunfo are about a five-minute walk away. Major sights including Bib-Rambla Plaza, Gran Catedral, Alcaiceria, The Monument of Isabela and Cristofor Columbus are reachable on foot in 15-20 minutes. Alhambra, Albayzin and Sacromonte are also not far.

Authentic and lovely, with everything I need and no frills. Just right for me.

The water pressure was very weak, and sometimes there was no hot water. I was also really disappointed by the Wi-Fi: I couldn't connect to a Zoom meeting at all. When I asked staff for help, they ignored my message, which was no help whatsoever.
