The hosts are very friendly and offer vegetarian and vegan breakfast options. This is a wonderful, unusual place to stay in Granada, close to the city center by foot, bus, or taxi. Bus stops Camino del Sacromonte 39, 77, 89 and Cuesta del Chapiz are walkable from the cave. Pack light, since you’ll need to carry your bags up a sloping path and stairs. The Alhambra Mirador near the cave is higher and, to me, better than San Nicolas Mirador, with fewer people around.

The hosts are incredibly attentive and make you feel at home. Staying in the heart of Sacromonte, with spectacular views and tapas bars close by, was a unique experience in the most authentic part of Granada. A perfect 10.

The cave was cozy and had amazing views. There are no windows in the room, but it has a dehumidifier and a plug-in heater. There’s also a small breakfast area with a microwave, coffee maker, and everything needed. A wonderful experience!
