We felt safe here even though it’s off the main streets. The rooms are clean and roomy, good value, and work well for four people. You can walk to the main streets, the bus stop for the Alhambra, and the cathedral. Parking costs extra and is about a three-minute walk away. There may be cheaper parking farther out if you don’t mind walking more.

The owner was quick to respond and helpful, and the apartment was spacious and cute, with very comfy beds and a strong shower. It’s on a lovely street with lots of halal restaurants, and you can walk to many sights. The bus for the Alhambra is nearby, as is the train station. I only wish they’d been able to help more with airport transfers, though calling a taxi or Lyft yourself is easy enough.

We were locked out in very cold weather because the young man from Liverpool gave us the wrong entry code. He was polite, but didn’t seem capable of sorting things out. The WhatsApp number he gave us went unanswered for two hours. When he finally replied, he sent another code and we got in, only to find the heat wasn’t working. After several more messages, we said we’d leave for a real hotel unless they fixed it and refunded us. He contacted the owner, who moved us to a smaller room with heat at midnight, with no discount. A very frustrating stay. There’s no reception or security, and this isn’t a hotel. There’s no housekeeper or breakfast either. The nearby bars and restaurants weren’t great; the places closer to the cathedral were much better, with more shops too. The apartment style rooms were very large, with comfortable beds, excellent showers, luxurious bathrooms, and an upscale coffee machine. We waited ten days to cool off before writing this. We recommend Granada, but not Elvira Suites. There are many cheaper rooms closer to the cathedral with better amenities.

We were happy with our stay. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Before check-in, staff sent advice about parking and the access code, then someone helpfully explained nearby attractions when we arrived. It’s a cozy apartment hotel in a convenient location.
