Ignacio really made our stay. He's the sort of host you hope to find, with a great sense of humor, good stories, and useful suggestions for food, parking, and things to see. It's a family-run guesthouse and clearly well looked after. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and if you need an extra blanket or an umbrella, they'll bring one with a smile and a joke. The location is ideal and the price is very affordable. I also found people in Granada very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend El Zaguan and would stay again.

The owner is lovely and has restored and decorated the place beautifully. She's very artistic. The rooms are clean, the location is good, and there's a cozy inner garden. It's a very personal hotel that's been in the same family for generations, with a history of 200 years!

The hotel is great value, and I'd happily stay here again or recommend it to friends. The staff are welcoming and glad to answer questions or offer advice. The rooms are clean, nicely appointed, and the interior is very pleasant. You can walk to all the main attractions from here. It's also very close to Calle Gran Vía de Colón, with lots of restaurants and shops selling Moorish wares.
