Hotel Albero

The reception staff were friendly, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Our room had a roomy bathroom with a hot shower, and the beds were very comfortable. It was quiet, and the heating kept us warm. Buses made it easy to get into central Granada or go straight to the Alhambra. We didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

I've visited three times now, and I'm sure I'll be back. It's a simple hotel on Granada's outskirts, but exceptionally clean, with comfy beds and a fridge in the room. Wi-Fi is very stable, and parking in the hotel garage is available if you ask. It's well placed for Granada or, as in our case, a trip to ski in the Sierra Nevada. The staff, especially Mr.Pepe, are marvelous. Part of me feels like keeping this hidden gem to myself, but it's too nice not to share!

Pepe was especially welcoming and pleasant. He made sure we had what we needed, whether directions, a taxi, or bus routes, and we felt looked after. The hotel is clean, comfortable, good value for your Euro, and quiet. The air conditioning worked well, which is a must in Granada, and there's a separate heat pump unit to control your room. It's an easy bus ride downtown or to the Alhambra. The buses were on strike on our main day, so we walked instead, though you'd need transport if you don't fancy that much exercise.

Thanks for being so kind and generous during our stay. The room was clean and lovely, and the location was great. We'd definitely come back!
