Hotel Turia Granada

A lovely modern hotel near the train station. The room was nice, and the staff were great. Since we had to leave before breakfast, they offered us a breakfast picnic. The gastropub was lovely too, with a good range of affordable cocktails.

We spent three nights here. The hotel is great overall, near Granada rail station, with a bus stop right outside. Breakfast was ordinary and the menu stayed the same every day. You'll need to carry your bag up the stairs to reception. We stayed in room 210. The toilet had a crack, and something odd seemed to be coming from it. The bidet was fine. I'd still recommend the hotel.

It's close to the centre, and the hotel was lovely and consistently clean. The staff were lovely too. Ana was wonderful and made our stay feel much more personal. Our only problem was parking: finding a free space was quite difficult.

We were relieved to get moved to another room, but the replacement had a horrible sewer smell coming from the shower drain. We left the window open overnight to try to lessen it. The original room had a toilet with several deep cracks. We told the staff it looked dangerous and said they could face fines from hotel authorities, but they insisted it was “safe.” The photos are attached, and to me the damage was obvious. They said they'd move us and put another guest in that room. I don't think they took the issue seriously. They seemed willing to keep it occupied for the daily revenue despite what I believe was a 5% chance that a guest could be cut to the bone if it broke. Cracked porcelain can cause severe cuts, even through an artery.
