Pensión Landazuri

Breakfast at the guesthouse cafe was fantastic and very affordable, about €5-6 for a full meal. The location is great too: five minutes downhill to the central square and its shops and restaurants, or a 10-15 minute walk up to Puerta de la justicia, near the Alcazaba entrance to the Alhambra. That climb is steep, so an older guest or someone with mobility issues might need a cab. The family running the place were very kind and courteous, and my room was neat, clean, and quiet. I visited in winter and struggled with the heater. The radiator knob seemed to be missing, so I couldn't control it. It was off for most of my first night in cold January, then switched on and off during the rest of my stay at different heat levels. Still, I highly recommend this spot.

The family were so helpful, and the gardens and big terrace with a view of the Alambra are beautiful. We've visited Granada four times, and this is easily the best hotel we've stayed in. It's charming and family-run. I'd only stay here again. Thank you so much, Lucy and Tim.

We had a top-floor room with a beautiful terrace just outside, and it was pretty much perfect. There's no AC, but in September we didn't miss it. The old hotel is right in the historic district, within a short walk of restaurants, shopping, albaicin, the cathedral, and just along the walk back from the Alhambra. The owners are delightful too. I'd happily stay here again.

The pension is on the hill leading up to Alhambra, with lots of cafes nearby. It was well run and had a front desk open 24 hours. There's no kettle in the room or restaurant, but otherwise it's a great little place. I'd stay again.
