We had a private room on the first floor with a queen bed, dresser and sink, plus a shared bathroom. The sink seemed odd at first but turned out to be useful. The walls are VERY thin: we could hear the neighbors talking late at night when they got back. Our window looked directly onto the outdoor patio, which felt strange, since anyone out there could see into our room. The location was OK, with plenty of taverns nearby, though most close around midnight or 1am. There were no hostel activities during our stay, and we had very little interaction with the staff or other guests. One reason we like hostels, beyond the price, is meeting people. We tried to socialize, but the other guests weren’t very engaging. Thankfully, we met some friends while walking around this beautiful little town and got to explore with good company. The “free” breakfast was toast, and we didn’t get much help when we asked about it. The place served its purpose, but I probably wouldn’t stay again.
