Hotel Presidente

The cafeteria did nothing except argue in Spanish, and the receptionist said the hotel had no control over the cafeteria serving breakfast. A woman was given an ashtray and smoked right next to me and three babies or toddlers, despite a no-smoking sign. I have severe asthma and thought I was in a safe area. I left as soon as I realized she was smoking, but still needed medication afterward to avoid an asthma attack. The worst hotel experience I've had. Avoid.

A nice hotel in central Granada for a good price, with daily room cleaning. The parking was very expensive, and breakfast at the cafe on the sixth floor of the Hotel Universal was terrible.

The terrace breakfast felt like an extra treat, and everyone enjoyed staying in the heart of Granada. The hotel is well maintained, and we spent four nights there. Rooms were spacious and odor-free, with very comfortable beds, crisp clean sheets and pillows. Bathrooms were excellent, with bidets and bathtubs. The hotel was a bit noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't effective. Adding a lift and improving the breakfast menu could make it even better.

The room was clean, but uncomfortable: there was no trash can, coffee pot, or tea. I paid for breakfast, which was meant to start at 7:30 except on Sundays, so I booked an early bus to another area. When I arrived, I found out breakfast wouldn't be available until 9:30 on January 1st. I asked online about a refund or another option and got no response at first. In person, they cut me off as soon as I started speaking, kept saying "nope," got angry, and told me to call the reservation company. They didn't apologize at all. It was just rude.
