We had a spacious, modern, clean room with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom, despite booking a standard twin. It was quiet and a comfortable temperature at night, so we slept really well. When my partner asked for another quilt, the housekeeper brought one without any fuss. Check-in was efficient, and the reception staff were always friendly and professional, with very good English. They also had tea and little cakes at reception, which we appreciated. We stayed four nights at the end of February and really enjoyed it. There was a classical and flamenco guitar recital at the hotel too, and the guitarist was excellent. We'd love to return.

The front desk gave us great tips for food and finding a stroller. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes to the city center, 10 minutes to the Alhambra, and 20 minutes to the caves and more. Be sure to see the quaint patio and rooftop. Our room had a street view, lots of natural light, and a nice breeze. It was clean, and the air conditioner worked, though we hardly needed it on our April visit. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a bidet, and clean towels. We'd recommend the hotel and stay again.

The rest of the hotel was lovely, bright, and a delight. Our room had a large, boutique-style bathroom. The hotel is on a steep hill but close to the old town center and the Alhambra, with excellent access to Plaza Nueva cafes, transport, and shops. Breakfast was disappointing in the basement dining room. There's a lovely rooftop bar, and it would make a wonderful breakfast terrace.

The location was perfect for the Alhambra and old town, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our first night was a rough start because the room was tiny and very cold. They moved us to a much nicer room the next morning. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The whole staff, from reception and the restaurant to the kitchen and housekeeping, were friendly, polite, and professional. I'm a very light sleeper, but they took care of any request promptly. We had dinner and breakfast twice in the hotel cafeteria, and both were excellent. Guests also get Granada's traditional pionono pastry in the evenings. The hotel is tucked away from busy, noisy streets, about a 15-minute walk from the Alhambra, and close to restaurants, entertainment, main bus stops, and must-see sights. You can take the bus up if you don't want to walk, but I highly recommend walking down through Cuesta Gomérez after your visit, it's beautiful. Granada itself is wonderful, with lovely views, rich history, and welcoming people. It was a fantastic stay. Thank you, Hotel Puertas de las Granadas, for making my visit memorable.
