Suite Comares

The location is top notch, with a perfect room and views. The pool area is great in Granada’s hot summer weather. Wifi was the one thing that could use improvement, since it kept going down. My room also had a second terrace, and on the first night I got to listen to a flamenco concert for free because the building is next to a cultural association. Keep in mind you shouldn’t drive to this part of town. Getting an Uber isn’t easy either, and you may have to wait a while for a ride at a reasonable price.

A fabulous little place with just four rooms, so it feels somewhere between an Airbnb and a Riad. The building is beautiful, and my top-floor room with its balcony and terrace was fabulous. Louisa was there and available to help with anything I needed.

The Alhambra views were breathtaking, and our room even had a private jacuzzi. We loved the cozy, elegant feel, and the staff paid close attention to everything. The hotel is within walking distance of practically everywhere, too. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

For a budget hostel, the room was okay and the showers were fine. Since the shower area is shared, though, there’s nowhere to change. I had to walk back to my room in a towel to get dressed.
