I couldn't sleep because the room had no sound insulation. I heard the people next door all night, even someone using the bathroom in the adjoining room. There's no parking space as advertised, so you have to park on the street. There isn't a restaurant either. For breakfast you have to walk 240 meters to a small, cheap cafeteria, where the food is subpar, even if you're paying for it yourself. This is the first bad review I've written on Booking, but the room wasn't worth 74 euros including tax, especially with cheaper options available. It's just an apartment without amenities for comfort.

The room was comfortable for a short stay, and the staff were kind and helpful. Check-in was easy, and there's a lot of free parking around the building. They also offer free coffee or tea with a croissant or toast at a very cosy coffee shop nearby. It would be better to have an electric kettle in the room or at least in a common area, so guests could boil water for tea or coffee, or for families with infants.

Martin made check-in really easy. He’s a helpful landlord who pays attention to his guests.

We found the rooms comfortable and clean, and the house is in a peaceful neighborhood with a park across the street, handy for a run. Shops, cafés, and casual places to eat are nearby, and the bus stop is only a few steps away. Senor Martin was lovely to deal with. He arranged an arrival time that suited us, welcomed us, showed us the house and our room, and gave us a tour. Since he grew up in Granada, he can also offer useful ideas for places to eat and things to do. We had a great stay at The Martin House and would happily recommend it for a visit to Granada.

Getting around is easy from here, whether you're heading into the city, going to the airport, or taking a walk in the park. Local shops are close by for anyone wanting to cook, and there are restaurants and bars nearby too. The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need, honestly better equipped than mine. The Martin House lives up to its claim of being special: it's spotless, peaceful, and welcoming.
