Urban Cube Hostel Granada

Granada won me over, and Urban Cube Hostel gave me a peaceful place to come back to after days exploring the old town and taking in views of the Alhambra. The pods are clean, modern and cozy, with enough privacy to unwind. Bathrooms were spotless, the WiFi was strong enough for streaming classical music, and the location is central and walkable, while still quiet at night. The staff were welcoming and helpful at check-in without crowding me. It’s affordable and secure, with a community feel if you want company and room for solitude if you don’t. No complaints from me. I found a lot of calm and happiness here, and would recommend it to solo travelers looking for a place to feel settled and reflect. I’ll be back.

The location is amazing, just off the Gran Vía and close to the Cathedral and Moroccan district. What really made the stay, though, was the staff, especially Maria and the young woman who handled afternoon cleaning. They were kind, gracious, and went well beyond what we expected. My daughter and I are still grateful for their compassion. The hostel was clean and cozy. The women's bathroom had only four stalls and three showers, but we never had to wait. A big improvement on the hostels I remember from my twenties! 😃

I stayed three nights on my own and found the hostel easy to reach from the old city and the Alhambra. There are plenty of good local restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and ready to help, and the shared areas were cleaned often and kept tidy. The shared kitchen has a freezer, and I could easily make breakfast there. The other travelers were nice and polite too.

My son and I felt comfortable right away. I’d never stayed in a hostel before, so it was a new kind of trip for me, and a really lovely one. The reception staff were welcoming, and everything was clean. My son especially loved the lights in the bed, which made it a real experience for him. We had such a good time, truly top, top, top. I’d recommend this hostel and would stay again. When I’m back in Granada, we’ll come back for sure. Five stars, it really was excellent.
