Campobase.box - Hostel

I was only there for one night, until 2:15 AM, before my morning flight, and left with around 20 bites. They still hurt a week later. My bed was full of bedbugs, which is disgusting and unhealthy. I should have read the rating before booking, that was a big mistake. The woman who welcomed me was nice and even called a taxi, which I appreciated. But offering a bed covered in bedbugs made for a really bad experience.

The kitchen had cockroaches all over, and there were lots of bedbugs too. The owner, Victoria, lives there with her daughter and treats the place like her home. I saw her kick people out for no reason, and she shouts at both staff and guests and is very disrespectful. If you want peace or a good time, don't stay at this hostel. If you're fine with all that, good luck!

I had to leave before my stay was over. During the night, I switched on my phone light and killed four bedbugs on my mattress, then woke up with more than 30 bites. The kitchen was full of cockroaches, so you had to clean everything before eating. The owner told me she would refund me, but then disappeared. The worst hostel experience I've had.

It was awful, and I won't come back or recommend it. The place was dirty and stank, with cockroaches everywhere and no hand soap in the bathroom. I also had to pay an extra 15 euros for arriving 30 minutes late. When the receptionist opened the door, they were drunk. Disgusting.
