We stayed in December 2024 and enjoyed the apartment, especially for the price. It was clean, spacious, generally well equipped, and had a kitchen that worked for two. Check-in was quick and simple, and we liked the rooftop terrace, secure building, and how close the beach and restaurants were. The place is a bit outdated, but that didn't bother us much because it was clean. We had a few things that kept it from being a better stay. The bed was very hard and we could feel the springs, while the cushions and blanket weren't comfortable. I'm a light sleeper, and the single-pane windows let in street noise. We could have used another blanket and some extra towels for a midweek change. There was no clothes drying rack. The bathroom was clean, but smelled unpleasant at the start of the week, possibly from the plumbing. It also had some rust stains, a leaking piede, and a light above the sink that didn't work. We would've appreciated some local information in the apartment too, like transport, restaurants, beaches and bars. It was a good choice for the price, but fixing those things would have made the stay much better.

The staff were polite and especially helpful when I asked to extend my stay by another week. The apartment was really nice and clean, with the beach and harbour a short walk away and shops and restaurants nearby. I'll definitely come back. 👌👍

We struggled to sleep because there was cigarette smoke coming from the next apartment, and the single glazing let in plane and road noise. That affected our plans during the day. On our last day, the hotel told us to leave early, despite having agreed online to our request for a late checkout because our return flight was late in the evening. It completely wrecked our plans for the day. The apartment also had old furniture and dated decor, no iron or ironing board, and no forks in the kitchen. We wanted to switch hotels as soon as we arrived. I wouldn't recommend it to friends or colleagues at De Montfort University.

It was big and clean, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. But the bed was small for two, and the air conditioning was either missing or not working, so sleeping was basically impossible. I had to leave the ground-floor window open, which wasn't great for safety or noise.

I recommend this apartment in Los Abrigos for its price and good equipment. The American-style kitchen is spacious at 17 m2, with a 12 m2 bedroom, 6 m2 bathroom and 5 m2 balcony. Max at reception is friendly and cheerful. This is the best appartemento del la Costa Sur, adios compagnéros and many thanks.
