Casa rural Crisalva

The patio was fantastic, with sunny and shady places to sit. The house is lovely, well looked after, and has what you need for a few days away with family or friends. There's a barbecue, fireplace, pool, board games, foosball, and darts. We'd happily come back!

Our stay was wonderful. The house is cozy, nicely equipped, and a great size, with thoughtful details throughout. It's also in a very good location. We'll return!

From what I can tell, we're not the first people this has happened to, and probably won't be the last. I booked through Booking.com. The owner then privately asked me to cancel and book directly with her, saying the price would be the same and she'd avoid the commission. I refused because we'd lose protection and potential benefits. She threatened to cancel the booking, then did so, leaving us stranded. That felt unprofessional and underhanded. In response to the owner: We weren't disrespectful or unwilling to cooperate at any point. We stayed friendly and willing to help despite the repeated pressure and accusations. This review is about what happened to me during the booking process, and I think it's fair to share it. I'm not adding personal opinions, just describing the events as they happened.

We were there for New Year's Eve and had everything we needed in the well-equipped house. The heating was almost too warm, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely return.
