Trossos del Priorat

The friendly, neighborly feel was one of the best parts. Guests from all over the world were meeting and sharing fine wine. Each room has its own terrace overlooking an amazing view, with grape vines right there, and you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets and sunrises throughout the property. Everything was modern, clean, and lovely, and the service was excellent even before we arrived. Diana was an amazing host who made sure we had all the information we needed and took care of everything. There are only seven rooms, so I’d suggest confirming your booking early. We can’t wait to return.

The bathrooms are spacious, and there’s a shared kitchen where you can grill or cook before relaxing by the fire in the living room. The rooms are comfortable, though much smaller than we expected. This contemporary hotel has lovely views of the Priorat wine region.

Diana is an expert on the area and suggested some great nearby spots. She and the team have put together a lovely mix of lodging, hospitality, and delicious wine. It’s a very quiet retreat where you can focus on wine and learn about the region. I can only recommend the hotel and its wine.

You can cook dinner in the spacious gourmet area, then pour the winery’s wine by the glass or bottle on a self-service basis and simply write down what you’ve had. Tours and tastings can also be scheduled onsite. Set on the mountainside in the heart of Priorat, the place has a great view of the area, including from the rooms. A great base for wine tours.
