I really enjoyed my stay at this peaceful, riad-style boutique hotel. It’s still quite close to the centre, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The owner was kind, welcoming, and flexible with our departure time. She also let us store our four bicycles safely. Casa de la Escultora is beautiful, with an Andalusian patio, an exquisite fountain at its centre, and Granada-style cobblestones. Our second-floor room was roomy, bright, and tastefully decorated, and the whole house was spotless. Staying here in Guadix was a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.

The place is lovely, with very spacious rooms right in the centre of Guadix. Breakfast isn’t included, and the heating was broken on the day we stayed, so I can’t give it five stars. The young man and his mother were incredibly kind, though, and even brought us radiators to warm the room. We’ll come back, and hopefully give it five stars next time. Thanks so much for being so kind.

We had a wonderful evening thanks to the owner, who is self-employed and arranged a photoshoot for us. This is a charming, peaceful place full of history, and staying there is a real treat. They don’t serve meals, which gives you an extra reason to head out and explore the city. Highly recommended.

The owners were courteous and attentive, and everything was clean and quiet. It’s a beautifully restored historic building in a great location. A good choice if you want to stay in a place with historical character.
