The place smelled of damp throughout, and the bathroom was dark. The bedrooms all led through one another, so there was no privacy. The sitting room and kitchen were tiny, with the sofa squeezed in beside the fridge freezer. It was absolutely horrible, and I wouldn’t recommend it. It was also a three-minute drive from the address shown on Booking.com, which was not the address we were given.

Juan was really helpful and showed us where to go and how to get around. The cave stayed at an ideal temperature, had the basics we needed, and matched its description. There was plenty of outdoor space for a barbecue. The shower wasn’t completely clean, but otherwise it was a lovely stay.

The owner was kind and quick to respond. It’s a comfortable restored cave with a kitchen, heater, and everything you need. A nice place to stay, and I’d recommend spending at least a night in this village.

The cave was cramped, dark, neglected, and strongly smelled of damp and mould. The sofa was dirty, the chairs sank together, and the fridge was wedged into a corner. The kitchen had little equipment, we were given just two medium towels and no small hand towels, and there was no air conditioning. The details about the pool, garden, and parking didn’t match what we found. We had booked a spacious cave with three bedrooms, but got a different place from the one advertised. Several other guests mention the same thing, so it seems to happen regularly. I’ve stayed in caves before, but never one this smelly and uncared for. One night was enough. It was dirty and nothing like the description, and I can’t recommend it.

A lovely, comfortable room. I was lucky enough to have the shared areas of the house to myself.
