Alberg Montsec-Mur

It was okay.

Sandra, the director, was on top of everything throughout our stay. We brought a group of secondary school students to the Montsec-Mur hostel for summer camp, and the counselors were very professional. The facilities were also kept in great shape. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend it for school groups.

We barely ran into anyone in the shared bathrooms, even though our room didn't have its own. We picked a late weekend for our first Xanascat stay, and the hostel was simple, clean, and well looked after. The food was fantastic: a two-course menu of straightforward home cooking, with Sunday's rice good enough for a restaurant. Each family gets a tray sized for its group, and while the kitchen is closed, there's a microwave, fridge, and freezer available for storing food. Sandra and her family were full of helpful suggestions. The surrounding area is beautiful, with Mont Rebei Gorge, Tremp, Isona and its dinosaur museum, and Rivert to explore. We had a great time, thanks to Sandra and family! 🥰

We’ve stayed at Xanascat six times as a family, so we know what to expect from a hostel, and this one treated us really well. Sandra and Roger were warm and attentive, and the location was the best part. Our room had no private bathroom, but the shared one was very close by. The only thing I’d add is a coffee machine. We had a lovely family stay and would come back. Thanks!
