The village is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, and the house has everything you need for a few days of relaxation. My family and I stayed there for Carnival, and the host was absolutely delightful. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy, well-equipped house, with all the comforts we needed. The staff who helped us were really friendly and suggested places of interest around the area. The village is peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax for a few days or use as a base to explore the region.

Esperanza was very friendly and explained the best places to visit. When our TV stopped working, she replaced it. The house is clean, well equipped, and well located for visiting the surrounding areas, including Sierra de Gata, Hurdes, Jerte, Vera, and Plasencia. The kitchen could use a cutting board, and the mattress could be better. The village has enough for shopping and several bars. Highly recommended.

There are plenty of nearby outings, from hikes and historical places to cultural visits. We went to Cáparra for the impressive Roman ruins and triumphal arch, and there's also the Jewish quarter of Hervás, Puerto de Honduras, Jerte Valley, Plasencia, Yuste, Guadalupe, Trujillo, Cáceres, reservoirs, and natural swimming pools. The house is cozy and charming, with a somewhat stately feel from its stone construction. It sleeps up to four and has what you need for a holiday in a rural village. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms are alongside a living room with the kitchen integrated into it. There's a two-burner ceramic hob, TV, Wi-Fi, towels, sheets, blankets, and a washing machine. Just steps away is a small old-fashioned shop and tobacconist. Near Plaza de Santa Ana, you can get a bite at Bar Evaristo.

The setting is gorgeous, with lots of natural attractions to see. The house is beautiful and well equipped, and the owner was incredibly friendly. Fully recommended. We'll be back!
