We really enjoyed the view from the main window, with the ocean in the distance, and the area is lovely for walks with beautiful scenery. The apartment had everything we needed, and the owner was kind and helpful when contacted. It's a quaint little village, though there's only one bar. If you don't rent a car, the bus stop is about a 1 km walk away. I stayed from January 20th to January 27th and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

We stayed anyway and treated it like a camping trip, but this place was a huge disappointment. It remains a run-down building, and I’d tell people to stay away from this vacation rental. The bathroom is tiny and awkward, with everything crammed together. Water drips onto the floor when you brush your teeth because there isn't room to bend over the sink. The toilet paper gets wet in the shower, and you could slip while brushing your teeth and hit your head on the cabinet packed above the sink. The living room is barely usable, full of old, cheap furniture. Inside, the place looks like a shabby bungalow, far from a penthouse. The roof terrace furniture is old and neglected, the two different loungers look broken and just take up space. There was a parasol, but it was broken, so carrying it to the beach was pointless. The terrace carpet is so old and dirty you'd rather not look at it. Water temperature couldn't be adjusted, and for three of our seven days there was no hot water at all. Ants were everywhere. There was no washing machine for personal clothes. One was outside, but we were told it was only for bed linens, and laundry was apparently forbidden. We only needed one load and could easily have sorted that out with the host. A washing machine is a priority in a vacation rental. It wasn't listed in the description, but I still expected one. I avoided contacting the host after that exchange. There was also no gas for the stove during the last two days, and I didn't message again. The kitchen had no dish rack, the dishes were a mismatched mess, and the sponge was old and dirty. They left a 2-liter tube of the cheapest laundry detergent. I then read in the terms and conditions that we'd be charged if anything broke, which is outrageous. For the barbecue, we were told during check-in that charcoal and firelighters were supposedly available downstairs. There were only empty bags and boxes left by previous guests, basically rubbish for us to dispose of, so we had to go to the nearest Lidl to buy supplies. You can't see the ocean while sitting. Standing up, you can see it along with a run-down street and houses. There isn't anything nearby, not even a greengrocer, and the neighborhood looks neglected. The outdoor pools were being renovated, and there was no way to swim in the ocean. For the same price, the two of us have stayed in much better areas and apartments in Tenerife. The value might work for six people, but not for us as a couple.

It's a small village where mostly locals live, not a tourist destination. Shops are about a 30-minute drive away, and the south is roughly the same distance, with hot weather and plenty of beaches. Parking is easy, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I'm in love with the place and would happily come back. The apartment is on the ground floor of an old traditional building. It has two small but cozy rooms and stays pleasantly cool, with a steady view of the ocean and dolphins. In the first room there's a sofa, desk, and kitchenette; the bedroom has a large wardrobe. It comes with a gas stove, microwave, kettle, dishes, spices, fridge and freezer, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and TV. The internet is fine, though phone reception can be poor at times. The hostess is wonderful, always smiling and helpful. Just remember it's a private local apartment, not a hotel, so the standard is different. Highly recommend it.

The landlady was cheerful and friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for a lovely holiday in Tenerife. The apartment was just 10 meters from the sea and had every comfort we needed. Very nice!!!!

They gave me great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The apartment was also clean and had enough space to accommodate our group of 9 or 10, which many larger apartments can't do. One of my best experiences staying in vacation apartments.
