We came back for lunch with a small group, and I’m upgrading this to four stars. The food was really good, the service great, and the atmosphere had improved a lot. On our first visit, my husband and I used a Groupon voucher for two people to have dinner. The restaurant is inside the hotel in a rural setting, not too far from Güímar. It was easy to reach by car and there was plenty of parking. Finding the entrance was a little confusing because it wasn’t obvious, so we followed the path across the terrace until we found the bar. We sat outside with scenic views. Staff were polite, friendly, and quick to help. We had the set menu included with the voucher, plus a few extra items from the main menu at additional cost. It was very quiet, with just a few other people there. We had salad and cheese, then Gambas/champiñones, followed by steak, pork chop, and dessert. The food was good, though I’ve had better elsewhere, and it was a bit too quiet for me. Would I go again? Probably, but with a group of friends.

We booked the Drago suite for two nights in February to celebrate my husband’s birthday and loved it. The views were spectacular, and the roof terrace was lovely. The hotel is quirky, clean, and comfortable, with lots of antiques and nice places to sit in the gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely return.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked an older hotel, but the whole stay turned out to be really interesting. It’s beautiful and traditional, with a quirky feel and modern amenities. We’ll be back.

We booked this charming countryside hotel at very short notice for a simple overnight stay, and I’m glad we did. It’s in beautiful surroundings, with friendly staff and a calm rural feel. The rooms are spacious and full of charm, and breakfast was great. If I need to come back, this is where I’ll try to book. Couldn’t ask for more.

Our room was lovely, right at the top, with a sun terrace and a comfortable bed. The location is quiet, and the small town is easy to walk to.
