The waiters were kind, and my friend really appreciated that. The Barraquito coffees were delicious too, and definitely made with love. But the food was very disappointing. Yesterday's paella was so salty I couldn't eat it; my friend only had a few bites and didn't want to complain. I ordered grilled fish fillets and should have taken a picture: two raw onion rings on a piece of tomato with a green leaf. The fillets seemed to have been heated in the microwave and tasted really bad. Of the three pieces, one was a different fish. Two old cooked potatoes, without the famous mojo sauces, completed the poor meal. At many restaurants on this island, shifts change around 4 or 5 in the afternoon. The good cook works until then, and after that cooks who still need to learn take over. El Lago isn't the only place with this issue; many fish restaurants in Lanzarote serve really disappointing food at night.

It's easy to reach either Punta Mujeres or Arrieta on foot from this spacious ground-floor apartment. It's just 50 yards from the sea, with a nice restaurant at the end of the street. There are two bedrooms and it's well equipped for self-catering. The management are friendly and easy to contact, and booking is straightforward.

The locally caught fish is sublime, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I first came six years ago and loved it, so I returned with my family hoping it hadn't gone downhill. We weren't disappointed!

A warm welcome, excellent accommodation, and a quiet, peaceful area close to the sea. The location is great and the quality very good. My only comment is that I would have liked brighter lighting in the bathroom.

An idyllic place, right by the beach, where all you hear is birdsong. The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and tastefully decorated. We spent six days there in June 2023, and would definitely stay there again if we return to Lanzarote. Everything we needed was there, and they’d thought of every detail, even leaving a bottle of wine for our arrival. Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes are just a few kilometers away, and there’s a restaurant 10 meters from the apartment with fantastic food at reasonable prices. Thank you so much.
