The beds here are amazing, with lots of space and privacy, and the bathrooms and showers are great too. The kitchen, dining area, and common spaces are so comfortable that I honestly spent more time indoors than anywhere else. There’s free coffee, tea, and snacks, plus lots of useful information at check-in. Deborah has made the place beautiful and thought through what guests need. After travelling through 65 countries, this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The value is unbeatable, and I highly recommend it.

The room setup, furnishings, bathroom, sleeping pod, and cleanliness were first class, comparable to some three-star hotels. The breakfast room and lounge were comfortable, clean, and tidy too. It’s centrally located, an easy 15-minute walk to and from the railway station. Check-in got off to a shaky start, but I enjoyed my stay very much.

We’d recommend the breakfast, and we’re grateful for everything. Deborah was kind and flexible, with really good recommendations. The room was just right for a short stay, clean, and had a good bed. We liked the common room too. This is an excellent hostel!

The manager was the best part of our stay. I think she also owns the place. She gave us recommendations and taxi numbers, made breakfast a pleasant experience, and let us leave our bags after checkout while we visited wineries. Breakfast included meat, cheese, tomato, pastries, juice, and coffee. We booked a private room with breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the room’s size, cleanliness, amenities like the TV and hair dryer, and the breakfast quality. It’s definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I’d give the location 4.5 stars. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the central plaza and around 20 minutes to the train station and bodegas. Ask for the best walking route, since we didn’t and accidentally took a steep hill. There’s also one flight of stairs at the entrance. We were on a long trip, so carrying our bags upstairs and from the station was tiring, though that was mostly our fault. We hadn’t realized there wouldn’t be taxis outside the station, Cabify wasn’t available, and we didn’t know the best walking route. If you have luggage you don’t want to carry on the walk into town, book a taxi ahead of time.
