I was traveling alone, and once I got there, it turned into one of my best experiences. The apartment is beautiful, with incredible valley views and total peace. At night, the sky seems full of stars, and Hermigua's separate neighborhoods look like nativity scenes, dotted with lights. The arrival did make me a little nervous at first because the street is very steep, though there's parking at the end. Then again, everything in Hermigua is uphill, and so is all of La Gomera!
