We stayed here years ago, but it wasn't what we had hoped for, so we left after two days. The house smelled musty when we arrived. I can somewhat understand that in this area, but not at this rate, and not everything was clean. There were also bugs and similar things all over the house. At night, they were literally falling from the ceiling.

We'd been hoping to visit La Gomera for ten years, and this house was on our list. We finally booked months ahead once the children were old enough, and were really excited about the trip. Then, the week before our stay, the owner emailed to cancel because they needed to deal with a cockroach infestation. He offered to help us find somewhere else, but that help wasn't enough, and we ended up finding a place ourselves. So I can't comment on the house itself. We walked past during a hike, but a large fence blocked the view of it.

It's right in the national park, with lots of trails passing the house, so it's an ideal base for hiking. Great place in a wonderful area!
