The staff were so helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was clean and kept tidy, with the owner's classic touches. We spent a week here and loved it. It was peaceful and quiet, and a great base for reaching the bigger cities. We also enjoyed walking around the towns. Thanks for a much-needed break.

We couldn't control the heat, so we felt cold at times. The place itself is lovely, but the path outside toward the alternative parking was very wet. My wife slipped there. I know the owner isn't responsible for that path, but maybe someone should be told how dangerous it gets when it's wet.

Breakfast was lovely, and Solmer kept the house and rooms in great shape. He also gave us directions, information and advice on what to see and where to go in Santander. Solmer, the host at La Casona Hermosa, is very nice, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at Casona Hermosa, and his attention to his guests made it a ten for us.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean, and we felt right at home. Solmer was so kind and attentive, and made a wonderful breakfast, even cooking eggs to order. We were sorry to leave and hope to stay again someday.

The house is architecturally stunning, and it's beautiful and peaceful at night. But it's Solmer's care and kindness that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived through to departure, including each morning at breakfast. I'd give the place four stars overall, and Solmer five!
