The setting is lovely, with a river you can hear from the cabins and no traffic noise, even though the road and town are close. We had great weather and got to enjoy all the outdoor areas, including the pool, barbecue space, and bar. Picking figs right off the tree was amazing, and there were grapes within reach of our cabin and pomegranates too. This was my second stay, the first was a year and a half ago. The place still has a lot going for it, but the outdoor areas seem less cared for now, so I’ve taken off a star.

House number 5 was filthy. Ants were even in the fridge, and cockroaches kept coming out of the bathroom despite the plug being in. There was also a wasp nest on the porch, and they attacked us every night when we switched on the light. We raised these problems with the owners several times. They gave us Mercadona wasp spray and told us to use the plug for the cockroaches. I can’t recommend staying here.
