It’s an easy walk to the old town center. My single room was compact, as expected, but still comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful.

The reception staff really made the stay stand out. Every one of them was helpful, gave us travel advice, and called restaurants for us. The location was marvellous for exploring the old town on foot. The hotel is at the other end of Honarribia from the beach, so walking there was fine for us. Drivers can use a pay-and-display car park near the main beach. We enjoyed our stay, and the rooms were adequate with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was reasonable, though the coffee wasn’t the best, and a bowl of fresh fruit salad would have been nice. The car park mattered to us, so remember to book ahead. The 16 Euro daily charge was fine for us.

After exploring San Sebastián, I had a spacious, clean, nicely decorated room to relax in. I had a great stay at Hotel Rio Bidasoa. What stood out most was the service: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with questions or requests. Their warm, professional manner made the whole visit feel welcoming.

The first-floor corridor and room were very hot. Street noise also came through the windows, and I couldn't open them at night to cool the room because of the noise. Apart from that, it’s a very good hotel with welcoming staff.

We were in town for a conference, and the location worked well for both San Sebastian Airport and Hondarribia old town. Staff were polite and helpful, including with walking directions for exploring the town. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice, though I’d have liked more variety, and the fresh orange juice machine was wonderful. Parking is available too, although I didn’t use it.
