This lovely rental sits right on top of the cliff rock, with great views over the fields. You can’t see the lake from the house, unfortunately, but there’s a public viewpoint overlooking it about a five-minute walk away.

The house is very small, but the location and views are outstanding.

I never made it to check-in. When I called, I was told they only offered two-night stays, while I needed just one, and that there was another rural guesthouse nearby. I asked for its name or phone number and was told, “Leave me alone!” in a really unpleasant, rude tone. I wished them a good afternoon and hung up. I won’t call again.
