The green leather chairs are really comfortable, and the service is good. We drop in now and then for a salad, tapa, or kebab, and it's always nice, very Spanish. I also popped into the bar area once for a couple of drinks.

We eat here pretty often and keep coming back for the friendly atmosphere and fairly priced food and drinks. Tonight, though, we were the only English speakers dining, and the only ones who weren't given a complimentary Limoncello after dinner.

The tortilla dipped in chocolate with coffee was delicious, and the restaurant itself was lovely, clean, and right in the center of town. One waitress was a delight, though she seemed stuck in the kitchen for being nice. The barman, Basil, was surly and never smiled, even banging the food down on the table. The other waitress, Manuel (a), was just as bad. When we asked her something, she replied, "Qui?!!" A strange experience, but one you won't forget.

I left feeling completely disrespected. I'd been waiting to be served, but the customer who came after me was helped right away. After five minutes I asked an older man passing by whether I should go to the counter. He answered "si" in Spanish, then carried on without helping. The woman from the kitchen said she'd be with me in a minute, even though she'd already brought Spanish breakfasts to the people who arrived after me. I won't return or recommend this place. There are more courteous coffee-serving restaurants to choose from, like El Pedreño Plaza de Santa Adela or Cafetaria La Perla.
