Camping la Sierrecilla

The receptionist was so friendly and easy to approach. Ask her for advice and she’ll happily point you in the right direction with a smile. There’s loads for kids to do, and the pool is great, with a little one just for children too. We had an amazing time.

The restaurant is an easy yes, really tasty food at a decent price. It’s a great place for both kids and adults. The grounds are green, spacious, and very clean, and our large caravan was easy to bring in and set up. The pool is stunning, and the toilets and showers are kept spotless. The manager was always friendly and helpful. They don’t speak much English, but Google Translate worked for both of us.

The town is an easy walk away. And despite what Google Maps says, there’s a tobacconist, a supermarket, and plenty of little bars and shops once you look around. Back at the campsite, the pitches are a good size, covered in white gravel to keep things tidy, with pretty trees between them. Everything was clean, and the staff were lovely. Just note that reception is closed from 2 to 5pm, presumably because it was off-season, so you can’t check in then. It was a lovely, quiet stay, and I’d happily return.

The restaurant was great, with a huge menu that included vegetarian choices. The facilities were really clean, the pitches were all good, and the staff were very helpful. Dogs are welcome too. It’s handy for walks and hikes. This was our first time camping here since Covid, and we enjoyed it enough to come back for a longer stay.
