The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but breakfast was a hassle. We’d paid in advance, yet there was no staff in the restaurant that morning and reception had no record of our payment. It got sorted in the end, but it made us late. Next time I’d save the trouble and eat breakfast somewhere else.

The bathroom was the highlight, very large with a huge spa bath. The room was fair enough, with a huge bed, sofa, table, chair, and TV. It’s a cute little hotel right in the city center, with an informal reception in a wide-open lobby. There’s some seating but no bar service, and a modern elevator. The rooms are built in old stones, which makes them feel a bit like a castle. Breakfast is served very early in the breakfast room. It was very good and plentiful for the price.

The property’s distinctive look makes it appealing, but AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The manager tries to charge unadvertised costs, preferably in cash. With the no refund policy, you’re left paying or losing your fee. If he offers a refund, make sure you have it before booking somewhere else. He changed his mind after we’d booked another hotel.

The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the bed comfortable. The air con and jacuzzi both worked perfectly 😁
