Apartamentos Avenida

The location was the one good point: the apartment is near the city centre and famous clubs, with a good supermarket and cafe right beside it. We were five friends travelling together. The listing says the rooms have air conditioning, but there’s only one unit above the main door to cool the whole apartment. Neither of the two bedrooms has its own AC. In warm weather, you may have to open the windows and put up with outside noise and mosquitoes. Hot water for showers is limited too. After two people shower, the third will have no hot water until you wait a while. Parking is very difficult to find in this area, so take that into account. For a night costing more than 550 Euro, the price and service don’t balance out. Communication with hotel service wasn’t great when we tried to resolve the AC issue.

The apartment made the stay: it was roomy, air-conditioned, very clean, and had plenty of amenities. The receptionists were lovely and accommodating, too. The location was just right. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend the place.

We were six people for three days, and the apartment was close to the beach in bossa. It had two bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, and just one bathroom, so space was a bit limited. Reception was friendly and capable. They cleaned the apartment and replaced the towels every day.

The staff and receptionists were really lovely, and the rooms were nicely set up. The location was incredible. A handy touch was the courtesy shower, and we could leave our luggage there until it was time to go. We'd definitely come back.
