Enkala Apartamentos

I came in winter to get away from the German winter and stayed in a ground-floor apartment right on the beach.

It’s in a really calm spot that worked perfectly for our family trip. There’s a direct entrance to a beautiful, clean beach just a one-minute walk away. Dogs are allowed, which is a plus if you’re a dog person. For a fair price, you get a beautiful, modern, clean apartment with an outstanding view. The manager and the staff in general were really kind and committed to their work. It’s a hidden gem downtown in Ibiza, about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. Five stars from me.

The rooms have wonderful sea views, like a mirror in the morning. Watching the sunrise and the full moon over the old town is indescribable. The manager takes care of every detail and helps with anything you need to make your stay unforgettable. I couldn’t have found a better place in Ibiza. The price for what you get is outstanding. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed in Ibiza twenty-two times, in places both expensive and really not expensive, and whatever this cost, every euro was worth it. It’s right on the beach, just 48 inches from the sea by my measurement, and immaculately clean. It looks like someone built it last week. Whenever you get up, you won’t tire of the view. Fancy extras like a chocolate on the pillow, a towel shaped like a bat, or a phone to call reception every ten minutes aren’t my thing. I prefer a kettle, some privacy, and a way to cook something I can identify. I love Ibiza’s music, but I love sleep more, and there are no six-foot speakers hooked up to amplifiers. Instead, there’s a separate bedroom with a luxurious mattress that’s never seen Ikea. If there were no airport taxis, I could have walked to Enkala in 20 minutes. It’s the best place I’ve stayed on the island, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. The owner never once lost her smile while answering all my questions. I’ll admit I asked lots of pointless ones, partly because she looks like Kate Beckinsale. I thought the bill was wrong, so I kept quiet. It was a little luxury at a price I hadn’t expected. Would I stay there again? I could happily live there.
