Ibiza Playa Hotel

The beach is right behind the hotel, so I didn’t mind that my room had no view. For a 3-star place, it ticked every box for me as a solo traveller. My room had everything I needed, and the staff were helpful throughout. They lent me a parasol for the beach. The pool and sunbed area was never too busy, so I relaxed there after checkout until it was time to leave for my flight. There was also a handy shower room where I could freshen up. Big thanks to Gonzalo and the hardworking team at Hotel Ibiza Playa for making me feel welcome and safe :)

The poolside food was just what we needed, and the cocktails tasted great in the afternoon heat. We also had a spectacular meal at Horizon. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay, and were excited to get a corner room with a view practically on the paseo, as shown in the photos. Booking direct saved us a decent amount for such a great week, and we’d recommend it.

The breakfast buffet was really good, and our sea view room was amazing. Very nice hotel, and I think its location is the best possible in Ibiza!

At 8:10 PM on July 28th, I had a deeply upsetting experience at your hotel. The man at the reception desk was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. I’ve never been treated with such arrogance or such little basic decency at a hotel. He spoke sarcastically, showed no patience, acted superior, ignored my questions, rolled his eyes, and made rude comments under his breath. I left the desk in tears. I was a paying guest who expected at least minimal respect, but his cold, rude manner ruined my evening and left me feeling humiliated and hurt. I hope management takes this seriously. No guest should be spoken to that way, and someone who can’t treat people with basic kindness and respect shouldn’t be working in hospitality.
