Hotel Vibra Mare Nostrum

Juan downstairs at reception has made a real difference to my stay. He's efficient, professional, multilingual, and always so helpful, kind, and courteous. I strongly recommend him for his hospitality, and he's one of the main reasons I'd still recommend the hotel. My stay at Hotel Vibra Mare Nostrum this year hasn't been as fantastic as previous years. The room isn't equipped as it used to be, and the overall standard felt a little lower. Cleaning has been inconsistent, towels have been missing, and room service hasn't been perfect.

I stayed three nights with breakfast included. Nothing much to complain about. The staff were nice, breakfast was good, and the location was perfect for me. There was a lot of foot traffic in the corridor around midnight and the walls are thin, so bring earplugs.

I was sure I'd left my jacket on the chair in my room to pick up when I checked out, but realized about an hour later that it was missing. I sent two friends at different times to check, but staff wouldn't let them into the room to look. They said they'd checked and the jacket wasn't there, which I find very unlikely. I returned myself a few hours later and was again told it wasn't there. They also wouldn't review the security cameras, which I understand because of privacy policies. I don't want to accuse anyone unfairly, but given what happened, I'm quite suspicious about where my jacket went.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and made the stay enjoyable. For a getaway, this well-run three-star all-inclusive hotel was a good fit, and I'd happily recommend it. The food was good for the week, with enjoyable, good-quality options, meat cooked fresh to order, and fresh bread each day. Drinks were branded too. There were two pools: one quiet and family-friendly, the other with a DJ and a livelier feel. The hotel had a chilled atmosphere overall, with younger guests. The room was well soundproofed. Heating was good, though temperature control could be improved, especially the roof fan speed. Oscillating air conditioning would also be nice. A great stay, thanks.
