La Llongar Piloña

The apartments are nicely decorated and the rural surroundings are beautiful, with great views and cows right outside the door. The accommodation is decent. My only concern is for winter: the heating and hot water system aren't adequate. I imagine it would be less of an issue at other times of year.

We were left without electricity at night after an electrical fault tripped the circuit breaker. We couldn't have dinner or charge our phones. When we reported it, the owner showed no interest in helping and offered no solution, so we were left completely unattended. There was also damp and the cleanliness wasn't adequate. The owner's rude, inattentive manner had already made a bad impression. It was a very disappointing stay. We wouldn't return or recommend it to other travelers.

There was no napkins or kitchen roll, and the toilet paper was soaked from the damp. We found hair and stains on the bed, which was unacceptable. The place had a strong damp smell, visible damp on the walls and floor, and it was almost unbearable. It's also in a remote, isolated village, which made it harder to deal with the problems or find alternatives. It was freezing, the radiators didn't work, and the hot water turned ice cold after just 10 minutes. The radiators were broken the next day. We told the owner we were cold and needed a solution, but he was rude and impolite. He was discourteous from the moment we arrived. An electrical fault tripped the breaker overnight, leaving us without power, unable to make dinner or charge our phones. When we told him, he offered no solution and left us unattended. He also made us pay the full amount before handing over the keys. The whole stay was extremely disappointing. We wouldn't return and can't recommend this place.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ROOM WITH THE JACUZZI. It's awful to advertise a room with a jacuzzi when the hot water tank isn't even large enough to fill half of it. I spoke with the owner to see if there was a solution, but he washed his hands of it and acted as if it wasn't his problem. He was very unpleasant, too. He took the 100-odd euros for one night without a second thought. Shameful!
