There was no hot water, and the sheets and towels were basic. Check-in felt a bit sketchy since you do it at the bar. It seems like a family business at first, but really feels meant for frugal pilgrims. The place reminded me of that dingy hotel scene with Tom Hanks in Big. You use a key to get in. I just slept and left. The room did have a ceiling fan, thankfully. Hope it never breaks.

I paid 35€, cash only, for what was the most affordable Pension in town because the albergues were closed. The bathroom was a hold-your-breath situation, and the hallway was noisy, with motion lights switching on and off all night. The water pressure was great, though. Most of my stars go to the woman who runs the restaurant downstairs. She was so helpful and kind, just wonderful customer service.

Small, clean rooms. I used the bar at night and had no issues. It's handy for the trains, trams and buses. It is what it is.

BEDBUCKS, avoid this place. I came away with more bites after one night here than I've ever had before. Never again.

The rooms and bedding are clean, and the food is really nice.
