The pinchos at the bar were good, and the friendly staff and reasonable price helped. I slept well thanks to the curtains, which made the room completely dark. Still, the room was small, had no safe, and noise came through from trucks outside and people in the corridor. In room 217, the shower head kept falling, and the bathroom door stuck on the floor and would only open halfway.

The room was really clean, and the staff were pleasant, but the noise made this a rough stay. I was next to the stairs above reception, and lobby chatter carried so clearly it felt like the group was sitting on my bed. They stayed until just after midnight, then went upstairs. At 6:30 a dog across the street woke me. It was the weekend, which was lucky, since I probably wouldn't have slept at all if the lorries across the road had been running.

The manager came out to help us find a good parking spot, even with my trailer, although the car park was nearly full when we arrived late. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the food was good too.

The Wi-Fi in my room barely worked, which was a real letdown. Apart from that, it was a great little hotel in irurtzun. The staff were friendly and spoke English well, and the rooms were very clean and nice. There's no coffee machine or mini fridge, but I didn't really need either.

The bar and cafe are handy, with a good range of food and drinks. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and warm, and it's a good place to break up a drive to France or farther south.
