Casa Rural Francisco Mayo

We were three couples, and the house lived up to everything we hoped for. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and their own bathrooms. It was nice and warm when we arrived, and Idoya was lovely and kept checking that we were doing well. She gave us good recommendations and a thoughtful send-off. Perfect.

The location makes it easy to enjoy Isaba’s charm and scenery, and we’ll definitely return. The house is cozy and clearly cared for, with roomy bedrooms, very comfortable beds, and everything spotlessly clean. Idoia was a lovely host and attentive the whole time. Durango Group

The spring right beside the house has water so pure you just want to bottle it and take some home. We were lucky to have such a wonderful stay, surrounded by beautiful scenery, warm people, and all their stories and legends. Isaba itself is lovely, with countless trails leading to magical places, and we were fortunate to meet Idoia and stay in her welcoming country house. It dates back to the 18th century and has four floors, each with a bathroom. The impressive stone-floored entrance leads to a well-equipped living room with a bathroom and TV. Upstairs there’s a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely dining room with a table for ten, then three beautiful double bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The top floor has a charming attic with two more double bedrooms. Idoia keeps everything in perfect condition and is delightful company. She’ll happily point you to hiking routes, and might even join you for a night out. She’s full of warmth and kindness, and cares wonderfully for her lovely daughters.

Idoia was fantastic, and all her suggestions for things to do and places to eat were excellent. We had everything we needed in the comfortable house, and the village was absolutely beautiful. We’ll be back!
