Hostal San Antonio

The owner really made our stay, with great tips for dinner and breakfast. The hostel was also very clean.

We barely slept in the triple room we’d asked for. There wasn’t any air conditioning or even a fan, and the window looked out onto an open field where kids were shouting until the early hours.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who struggles to fall asleep. The rooms and hotel were clean, but the mattresses were so uncomfortable, and without air conditioning, getting any rest was extremely difficult. Noise carries through the flimsy partition walls, too. I also didn’t feel very safe because the doors between us weren’t reinforced.

You can hear everything the people next door say and do, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep. The room itself was fine, with two extra pillows and blankets, and the radiators were switched on when we arrived. For two people, though, €60 a night felt expensive, and the tiny bottles of shower gel and shampoo were barely enough for one shower each.
