We had a great time at Hotel Olimpo and I'd definitely stay again. The main issue was the strong fake cherry chemical smell in the bathroom. A battery-powered device kept spraying scent into the back of the toilet tank every few minutes. It was thick enough that we could taste it, so I switched off the sprayer and we slept with the balcony door open for fresh air. The location is fantastic, right by the water with access to a small beach. We were on the top floor, with a balcony and beautiful ocean views, and could walk around Isla for restaurants, shopping, and swimming. The room was clean, with the standard fixtures and amenities you'd expect in most hotels.

I was there on May 24 for my sister's wedding, and Hotel Olimpo by the sea in Isla, Cantabria made the day unforgettable. The outdoor ceremony looked out over the ocean, with greenery, a floral arch, blue and white arrangements, and warm sunlight. It felt serene and romantic. The staff, from waiters to bartenders, were polite, quick, and attentive, making everyone feel welcome. We had fresh seafood to start, then tender, flavourful steak with sauces in tasting glasses, followed by beautifully presented desserts. The DJ and music kept the celebration lively into the evening beneath chandeliers, with heartfelt cheers all around. It's a charming coastal venue with panoramic views. The meals were fantastic, easily worthy of a Michelin rating, and the rooms were beautiful, with balconies and views. We arrived on Saturday afternoon just as a wedding party did, so the place was incredibly busy. Still, the hospitality staff found us a table and took our order. The celebrations were in separate buildings, so we could watch the fun from a distance without it getting in our way. The location is stunning, the staff are friendly, and we'd go out of our way to stay again.

The views here are amazing, and the service was just as good. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knew the food well. Everything was fresh and nicely cooked. We'd recommend it and will definitely be back.
