The quiet here is what keeps bringing us back. This was visit number two, and our four nights included three dinners with Jean and Carolina. The meals were fantastic, from lemony salmon and Moroccan-style chicken tagine to slow-cooked pork knuckles. At 28 Euros per person for three courses, the price felt great too. Jean and Carolina are warm, lovely company, and nothing seems too much trouble. If something goes wrong, they do what they can to sort it out quickly. The dogs, cat, chickens and fish pond are all part of the place, and the animals are clearly adored. We stay in hotels around the world, so calling this spot pure tranquility really means something. We’ll be back for a third visit.

The house has such lovely views, and its living room is thoughtfully put together. We found the stay relaxing and comfortable, with welcoming dogs and hosts who greeted us with drinks. I loved being here and would definitely recommend it. My one regret is that we forgot to reserve dinner ahead of time!

Jean, Carolina and their two lovely dogs made us feel right at home. The secluded casa was spotless and beautiful, and dinner was gorgeous and very reasonably priced.

The saltwater pool looks out over the lake, and the whole place feels peaceful and beautifully kept. The house, rooms and grounds are impeccably designed and maintained. Carolina and Jean welcomed us from the moment we arrived and were happy to help with anything. The food was just perfect. A 10 out of 10 for me, and we’ll be back.

The views were out of this world, and the place has a lovely feel, tucked into the hillside. I had one of the nicest stays I can remember, with wonderful hosts and an incredible dinner and breakfast. I’d recommend it for families, couples or solo travelers. Can’t wait to return.
