We slept really well after driving up from southern Spain. The neighborhood was calm, and although A Boira is right in Jaca, it’s far enough from traffic to stay quiet. There are restaurants about a 10-minute walk toward the center, and Ciudadela and Casco antiguo are both worth seeing. Our room was airy, spacious, spotless, and had plenty of places to put our bags and things. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. It may be rated two stars, but I’ve stayed in three- and four-star places that were nowhere near as clean or comfortable. Very good value.

For 91 euros through Booking, I expected more. The rooms were clean, but really tiny, and the elevator seemed prehistoric. The place felt like a ghost hotel: it was closed in the evenings and during siesta, and we didn’t see anyone apart from at check-in and check-out.

Parking can be a bit difficult, though the streets around the hotel are free. Otherwise, we had a peaceful stay in a quiet residential part of Jaca. Our room seemed quite new, with lots of light and blinds that kept out both noise and light. The bathroom was modern, with a walk-in shower, and there was a minibar. It’s a reasonable two-star hotel, about five minutes on foot from the center and three minutes from several busy bars and restaurants. We didn’t hear any noise from them.

The room was very messy. When we came out of the hotel, my friend was there to pick me up, and the owner yelled at him to leave. He even bumped his car into ours.

It was quiet and very nice. There’s no food available, but the supermarkets and old town are an easy walk away. I’ll come back.
