The location is ideal for skiing, and the services are excellent. A small reservation mix-up caused by human error was handled efficiently by the people involved. A special mention for Rodri, the maître d' at the new Picaubé restaurant. He’s a genius and so professional. With him in charge, the restaurant’s reputation is in safe hands. The service was impeccable, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next time we’re up here.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, doing “what they could.” Their service was outstanding, but the food and facilities were a disaster. Breakfast was awful: not enough tables, so some people had to eat in the lounge, and the food was scarce, poor quality, and ran out. Full board used to be served at their buffet. Now they herd everyone together like cattle in the dining room by the slopes, which is bad enough for skiing and even worse for dinner. The food was just as poor, with trays to queue at and meager portions. They’ve ruined it overnight. They’ve also removed the benches from the ski storage, so you have to put on your ski boots in your room or sit on the stairs in the hotel lobby. Our whole group left saying what a shame it is.
