10/10
The owner was very friendly, and the free wifi worked really well. Rooms and the shared modern bathroom were very clean, and the beds were comfortable and modern while still fitting the old-fashioned style of the rooms. The building is old but well maintained, on a lovely square with restaurants serving very good food. There's a cozy feel, though street life can make it less peaceful. No music, just people enjoying a good meal. More charming and original than any standard hotel.

The room was clean and nice, and the man at reception was friendly and helpful. But in summer, it was noisy outside until 02:00, so sleeping was difficult and we had to shut the windows. There was no ventilation or fan in the room. We also had to leave our keys on the reception desk when we went out. One evening we returned to find all the keys, including ours, sitting there with nobody at reception, while our valuables were still in the room.

Good value, basic and right in the centre. The shared bathrooms were consistently clean, and the staff were helpful. Nights were quiet except for the squeaky floorboards.

Old-fashioned and a real one-off. Such a great place!
