We came to ask for a room, but the lady at reception rudely refused us because of our very small dog. We’ll never visit Jaca or Aragon again. Fortunately, the Pyrenees are bigger than Aragon and Jaca.

We were charged €15 per night for parking, even though the advertised rate was €9.50, and there was no clear explanation. The room was missing basic amenities too: there was no shampoo or conditioner, only a generic soap dispenser. Cracks in the walls, uneven flooring with noticeable gaps, and hallway carpet torn in several places all made the hotel feel neglected. It was rated four stars, but the service and quality fell far short of that standard and our expectations. A real letdown.

A very nice, well-presented hotel in Jaca. It’s my choice when I’m in this region and makes a great stop on the 3.5-4 hr trip from the Santander ferry into the Pyrenees. Top hotel.

Average stay. We added an extra night hoping to use the spa on a recommendation, only to find out that day it was closed. The spa also costs an extra €18 per person, and parking is another €12 per space. The breakfast staff weren’t exactly helpful.

The best part after hiking was the spa, which felt quite private. Its facilities are new, with a sauna, a pool with different jets, and showers. The locker room is unisex, but there’s nowhere to shower there. The front desk let us check out late so we could shower in our room. The rooms are a bit dated, but have a kitchenette and a patio with mountain views, which are worth it. The parking garage is near the hotel, and breakfast has a range of hot and cold foods.
