Casa Rural La Gesta

So peaceful and quiet, like an oasis. Beautiful, ideal, and full of thoughtful touches. The service was impeccable.

The garden and pool were fantastic, and the house was really clean. A group of friends and I stayed here this past weekend, and found everything we needed, along with lots of thoughtful touches that made things more comfortable. Highly recommend it. Thanks for your hospitality, Pilar.

We had a great time overall during our 15 days renting the whole house. The kitchenware was very complete, almost like being at home, and the three bedrooms each have a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable, though there was an unpleasant pipe smell in the spectacular third-floor room. The pool isn't very big, but it's enough to enjoy, and the garden is gorgeous, beautifully maintained, with lovely lighting at night. The house next door was being completely rebuilt, though, and truck and construction noise went on all day. It kept us from resting, and it's a shame nobody warned us. Had we known, we might not have stayed for two weeks. If the work is still going on, families with children can forget about naps. That's why I'm taking off one star.

The kids loved the pool and ping pong, and our hostess left us breakfast and a cool watermelon, which was especially welcome in the summer heat. The village was peaceful and people were very friendly. The Church of San Juan Bautista is beautiful and worth visiting. The stone house stayed wonderfully cool during the heatwave, and the garden was lovely and well cared for. The pool was great, too. The house itself was beautiful, with all the comforts and equipment we needed.
